Website & Social Media

I was responsible for creating content and posting all stories on KHFC’s official website throughout my time at the club.

Before taking up the role of Media Officer at the club, I had already learned how to operate the Football League interactive website’s content management system.

On top of this initial knowledge, I taught myself how to create and edit sections such as photo galleries and player profiles.

In terms of social media, I continued to maintain KHFC’s Twitter presence, and began to create more regular content on the club’s Instagram account. I also increased KHFC’s Facebook output, which was noticed and commented on by supporters.

Additionally, I created a KHFC account on Vine, where I posted snippets of matchday build-up, such as this scene-setter at Bradford Park Avenue, and short clips of goals scored by KHFC, editing them to gain the most out of the assigned six seconds, as can be seen on these Vines of Ahmed Obeng’s goal against Lincoln City and Jack Byrne’s goal against Aldershot Town. I also provided the club’s youth team with a platform after filming their 3-2 victory over Mansfield Town, uploading the goals by George Forsyth, Joe Palmer and Tyler Higgins to allow their achievements to be widely shared. During my time at the club, the Vine account gained almost 300 followers and attained 62,000 loops overall on its videos, with one – Aman Verma’s goal against Wrexham – gaining 11,000 alone.

Here is a selection of my best articles on KHFC’s official site.
